  • eCommunity Announcement

To our eCommunity members and the wider governance community,

In the last few years all organisations have had to adapt to the many unprecedented challenges the world has had to face. Consistent with this we have noticed amongst our audience that things have once again evolved, especially post-pandemic. As such, CGI Global thinks that you, our eCommunity followers and others, would be better served by engaging with the platforms and  other e-communities of your local Division of The Chartered Governance Institute. We have therefore taken the difficult decision to close down the eCommunity and stop the circulation of our monthly newsletters as of 30 August, 2024.

Since our re-brand and launch of a global community networking space at the tail-end of 2019, you have been instrumental in contributing 850+ individual discussion posts across 180+ conversational threads via our eCommunity; over 10,000 of you attended 9 global webinars on the most prevalent topics in industry; and you’ve engaged as part of an established LinkedIn following, promoting and supporting the Institute, its exceptional Divisions, and of course your fellow peers in governance. In doing all of this, you have shared knowledge and connected with professionals around the world, most notably at a time when digital communities were the key means of interaction for many. For all that you have contributed to these platforms, the discussions, and your fellow professionals, we thank you.

Over the last few years, the way that people have interacted has fluctuated greatly, and as such we must continue to evolve with that. As a result of our continuing endeavour to ensure that you are equipped with the most up-to-date information and topical knowledge, it is from this point onwards that we invite you to connect with your local Institute as your primary knowledge hub, a full list of which can be found via our website.

Once again, we’d like to thank you for your participation in our various global platforms, and we look forward to engaging with you further, and more directly, through more local channels.

For further information, please refer to our website, or email the team at: cgioffice@mci-group.com with any queries.
